Make Money Writing on the Web - It's a Whole New Game

There's a line in a recently popular song that goes, "It don't matter at all where you've played before, California's a whole new game!"

Today, you could say the same about writers and the Internet. Your previous credentials and accomplishments don't matter. To make money writing on the Web it's a whole new game. For years most writers have all had spelling, grammar and syntax pounded into their heads. They studied literature and analyzed the best sellers to learn how to write such works themselves.

On the Internet, forget all that. Grammatical correctness and literary works have little or no demand or market value. Speed is of the essence. Web surfers are sorting info FAST. You have a few seconds to grab their interest and hold it before they are gone. Ideas must be presented rapidly, in small, digestible info bites. There is money to be made, a lot of it, and many make money writing on the Web. But the demand is for volume, fast, not for literary excellence. The emphasis is on text that is readable and understandable, not on grammatical correctness.

Most money-making text on the Net would not pass an editor's quick scan or a proofreader's check without liberal applications of their red pencils. But nobody cares. If it communicates, if it sells, then it's good! Results are revered and form is optional. "Nitpickers" are scoffed at, ignored. Those who focus on correct form are seen as too dim-witted to get the point... If it answered the viewer's question, if it moved the visitor to "Click Here", then it did exactly what it was supposed to! Bad grammar? Who cares?!? That's beside the point...

These differences are some of the reasons that new writers, without previous experience, often succeed and prosper where experienced writers flounder. The newbies aren't carrying any excess baggage, they don't have anything to "unlearn"! That mental "clean slate" gives them an advantage...

So if you might be interested in learning how you could make money writing on the web, if you can write at a middle-school or high school level, look into it. Don't be held back by your old mental images of "What it takes to be a Writer." Those images don't apply to writing on the Net.

Remember: Writing on the Web is a whole new game...

Is it Wise to Incorporate to Make Money With the Internet?

In many situations, there exist quite a few tasks that you can use with your Internet company's web page that will increase it's chances of being very effective and also holding a very high level of popularity. Once you have several years of experience in regulating your own Internet business, you will probably have the desire of taking your business to a new level by officially incorporating it into the business world. If your site has reached a high enough level and if you are ready to expand your online company, then it is very wise to incorporate so that you can make money with the Internet.

There are probably a few entrepreneurs who might not have learned about how to incorporate a company and might not understand what exactly that means. Basically, in the business world, there are different types of companies that can be formed and various legal requirements that must be met. A company that is incorporated to make money with the Internet is called a limited liability company.

A limited liability company is precisely what the name appears to be; it includes limited liability for the company owners. This type of company protects business owners from being fully responsible for the acts or debts of the company, but also does not completely turn the ownership of the company over to the public. It is almost like a midway company for those owners wishing to control a company without being held fully responsible for any mishaps.

There are a few limited liability businesses that can be easily constructed with the help of just a single owner. Unlike a major company or corporation, it only takes one business owner or company member to create a limited liability company. This can make such a creation less hectic and much more plausible for potential entrepreneurs.

An additional positive point includes the security of the business' leaders. With the startup of such a business comes the security of owners from potential harmful or illegal actions and debts that a company might encounter.

Other positive points involve the security of power to the initial company leaders and members. With a limited liability company the owners do not have to give up the power or ownership of the business to a general committee or board of executives. There is also an elimination of a great amount of paperwork that a company would normally require.

One specific explanation for why it is very wise to incorporate your Internet business is because it makes your business more professional and credible to people. Instead of just having a blog site company that anyone can start and regulate on the Internet, you will be able to officially legalize your blog site so that it becomes a real company. More customers will want to be involved with what you have to offer, which will increase your chances of making money with the Internet.

Through the process of incorporating your Internet company you will also be able to obtain more health insurance and also liability insurance. As you legalize your blog site, you will have more opportunities to make money with the Internet and build your online reputation.

How You Can Stop Yourself From Making Money With The Internet

When you first start up an online business or a blog, you are probably full of energy and read to get going on it. But after a while, having your own business can wear you down and it may not be as exciting as it used to be. At times, you can be your own road block in your own path.

There are a few important things that you should probably keep in mind no matter what kind of business you have. If you feel like you are stopping your own progression in making money with the internet, then it is definitely time for a few changes. Try to get motivated and make some positive changes.

Are You Passionate About Your Job?

Now we know that this is not a perfect world and that we all can not love our job 100 percent of the time, but you really can enjoy the time that you spend while working. In fact, if you are at the point of detest or hatred towards your job, it's probably a good sign for change.

There are a few things that you can do to make sure that you don't get to this point. But obviously, if you are already at this point with your job, it is time for you to change things up a bit and evaluate what you can do to really make sure that you at least enjoy what you are doing.

Some Positive Changes

There are a few other things that can become road blocks in your path if you let them be. One important thing to remember is to always stay on top of things. When you let yourself get behind, it just becomes a burden and even more hard to get caught up and get ahead of yourself.

If you set some realistic goals and stick to them, then you will not get behind on your work but will always be where you should. Learn how to prioritize your time effectively but also make sure you are giving yourself balance between work and other time spent away from the desk.

Stay On Task

It is often hard for bloggers and others who work online all day to not get easily distracted. It happens to the best of us. But try to focus on just the important part and that is getting the job done. As soon as you have done what you need, then go ahead and play for a while.

If you are working from home and your family seems to be quite the distraction, then set boundaries with them. If they understand that you must have time for work before you can spend time with them, then they won't be quite the distraction. But explain to them how they can help you instead of hinder.

These are just a few suggestions to help you move forward with your business instead of back. Keep in mind that if you are being positive, then you will never become a roadblock to your own success.
